This book addresses the issue and challenges of curatorial practice, which helps sharpen critical reflection on the artist's message while providing access to various types of exhibition and thus expression spaces. It contributes to the visibility of an artist, a scene, and/or an artistic community. It shakes up their impact, thus sustainably contributing to an artist's career. Three authors, Armelle Dakouo, Allison Glenn, and Jeanne Mercier, converse with a selection of twenty-two artists committed to writing a new narrative and actively breaking down artistic practices, curatorial frameworks, and academic discourse to extend their visibility and pave the way for those who will follow.
